Anlan was originally from Xiamen, China. When she was a university student in tourism, she helped foreign tourists learning survival Chinese to travel in China. The strong passion of being a Chinese teacher for expats motivated her pursuing the Master Degree in Teaching Chinese as an International Language at NTU Singapore. She was a volunteer Chinese teacher for foreign adults and children during her Bachelor ad Master study.
Anlan understands student’s needs and difficulties of Chinese learning and she conducts the lessons in an interactive and dynamic approach. She is very patient with her students. She makes her class rich and relaxing, and she wants to teach students the practical and communicative Chinese. She feels proud of seeing students confidently using Chinese in their daily life and work.
